You may appeal the Director's or Regional Director's decision on any matter subject to this part by:

(a) Sending the appeal to the director within 30 days of the date that the Director or Regional Director mails or otherwise informs you of a decision.

(b) Appealing the director's decision under paragraph (a) of this section to the Secretary within 30 days of the date that the Director mailed the decision.  An appeal to the Secretary must follow procedures in 43 CFR 4, Subpart G, "Special Rules Applicable to other Appeals and Hearings."
