Submit Questions via Inquiry Request Form

WSFR has formed a Wildlife Restoration/Hunter Education (WR/HE) Advisory Team consisting of WSFR subject matter experts (including a Service Solicitor) who will receive received inquiries regarding implementation of the two new laws and recommend a course recommended courses of action. The Team’s recommendations will be were shared with WSFR Regional Managers and the results posted for Regions and States to refer to when making decisions related to submitting grant proposals. Recommendations have and will continue to support the Regional offices ability to make timely and consistent determinations for activities in grant proposals. 

WSFR intends the The WR/HE Advisory Team and WSFR Managers agreed to be poised to quickly address questions/issues coming inthat States and staff submitted. Some topics may require required a slightly longer process to resolve.

WSFR staff may submit inquiries using the form linked below.
States must contact their Regional WSFR Office and their WSFR contact will submit the inquiry. WSFR staff may also submit inquiries from NGOs or other partners. Please provide your WSFR contact with: 1. Your name, title, organization, and contact information (phone/email); 2. Specific questions, issues, scenarios you have related to the Modernizing the Pittman-Robertson Fund for Tomorrow’s Needs Act and or the Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act; and 3. How you inquiry relates to an existing or anticipated grant proposal. Supporting information may also be supplied. 

Inquiry Request Form (For WSFR staff only), but efficiency was achieved. The Team work has been accomplished and the Team was stepped down with many thanks for their hard work. States, please continue to engage your Regional WSFR Office as questions arise and WSFR Headquarters and Regional Subject Matter Experts will be happy to assist.

  • Administration of the Wildlife Restoration Act - Describes how funding is disbursed from the Wildlife Restoration Account and eligible activities

  • Administering Wildlife Restoration Accounts and Subaccounts (Extended Version / One-page Version) - Spreadsheet that presents Programs/Subprograms under Wildlife Restoration referencing accounts/subaccounts, funding method, distribution formula, availability, cost share, special conditions, reversions, and eligibility.
