The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service / Office of Conservation Investment (formerly Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR)) / Division of Policy, Programs, and Partnerships / Branch of Policy and Programs invites you to this page to receive updates and important information on the Clean Vessel Act Grant Program (CVA) Regulatory Update.

Clean Vessel Act Grants | Department Of Natural Resources Division

The Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program has been working toward updating the regulations for the Clean Vessel Assistance Program (CVA) at 50 CFR 85 for several years. Many thanks to a strong and engaged partnership of Federal, State, and local governments, industry, NGOs, and other partners for advising the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on ways to make improvements to the current regulations that were published in 1994 and 1997.

During 2024, the Service is routing the proposed rule for approvals to publish in the Federal Register. We will post information here to update you on progress and keep you posted on opportunities to provide further comment.
