Functional Area to TAS Crosswalk
For awards or lines created in FBMS, these fields are populated based on the funding accounts used on the award. For awards converted from FFS, the field will not be populated. If the field is not populated, the user must select the Override Predominant Treasury Account Symbol and enter the TAS code in the fields
The TAS code should reflect the origin of the fund. To verify, obtain the Fund or Functional Area of the award and search for the TAS code using that information in the "Functional Area to TAS Crosswalk". If the TAS code is not found, search for it using the CFDA number assigned to the award in the "Section 124- Service CFDA Program TAFS codes" available at https://inside.fws.gov/index.cfm/go/post/CFDA .
