It may exceed our authority, but would it be relevant to ask if the relevant program logo or Icon was included in publications (or other relevant attribution to the program in the case of publications in referred journals or book contributions)?

We don't have authority to require it but there is no harm in asking.

I agree with the above statement.

We feel that this question is reasonable and necessary, and the most likely path to some of the additional information that you appear to be seeking.

Seems like a reasonable enough question that would help show what products or deliverables result from certain grants.  Consider revising question to attach sample publications or perhaps limit this to published items or change the wording as another reviewer suggested to: "Please attach any published articles, including popular literature, scientific literature, or other public information products and/or include  photographs that illustrate the project." Asking for any (i.e. all?) photos is more than is actually necessary to illustrate the project.

This is another question that seemed more daunting than the actual hatchery example provided. (No news releases, website information, social media posts, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, etc, were relative to hatcheries or fish stocking in an entire year?) Perhaps this question is meant to be directed specifically to outreach grants? Again, should be optional.

If reports are available at the time of reporting, we typically attach them now (management, technical reports, etc).  However, many of these are completed, published, etc well after the grant period.  Identifying all publications, photographs, websites etc related to a project would be quite time intensive and the value would diminish with volume.  Perhaps this could ask for a sample of publications etc?

We echo the comments made by NH Fish & Game. We also suggest the addition of hyperlinks.

    • Question 7 is overly burdensome and not required by CFR.
    • It is not the responsibility of the States to spend time and resources to take screenshots of websites or to attach all public information that has resulted from data collected as part of a grant. The responsibility of the State is only to report accomplishments of the grant, reasons for delays, and favorable developments per 2 CFR 200.238.
    • Furthermore, the use of any photographs or articles produced by State staff through the grant activities may create intellectual property issues. It would be inappropriate for these documents to reside in TRACS which could create confusion as to who is in “ownership” of the information/data.

We currently include products similar to those listed, but again, the timing of most of the publications don’t occur until after a grant has closed – so wouldn’t get included in this particular ‘measure.’

This needs to be an “if applicable” question. May be difficult to provide depending on the grant project. Because of the time it takes to publish research, scientific publications are often not available until well after the research was conducted (and grant closure).

Some of my staff would like to know if there is a specific way grants should be acknowledge in publications, literature, etc. This may be a place to highlight that.

This question provides little value to both the State and the Federal Gov't other than a way to show there is media and publication involvement.  I suggest removing.

I like the ability to house products in the system; however, the timing may not align with the closure of the grant.  Photos should be easy, but publications may not be available for months or years after the grant closes. Is this something that you could attach to previous reports?
