Welcome!  This is where we'll have all of the real-time additions and changes to language for the next 50 CFR 80 revision.  If you have additional suggestions for changes, please comment on them here, at their respective section(s), and we'll work to try and accommodate your suggestions, and discuss them on webinars that we'll have throughout this process.  If you have general comments about this entire process, whether you like it, or have suggestions to make it better, please comment on this page, or feel free to contact Pete Barlow, at peter_barlow@fws.gov or at (703)358-2119.

ABOUT

The WSFR Branch of Policy completed a series of 12 webinars to solicit input on updates of the Wildlife Restoration and Sport Fish Restoration regulations at 50 CFR 80 and the new WSFR Administration regulation at 50 CFR 75. We thank the Regional offices and States for giving us feedback on the many topics that we identified as important enough for us to address in regulation.

Webinars were held on Wednesdays from June through September of 2015. Topics addressed ranged from definitions, to updating language to reflect changes due to 2 CFR 200, to addressing highly important, complex matters such as license certification and certain eligible activities. An average of 35 offices, all with multiple people from that office on the call, participated on a weekly basis to discuss these important topics. The webinars generated some rich discussion. You may view recorded webinars through the links below. As always, we welcome input from those interested in this ongoing process.

We will remove the Draft regulations effective early March so that we may review your comments to date and appropriately respond. Please navigate through the links below to see what we've been working on.

Thanks for your continued interest!
